2023 CCNC-N Men's Retreat

Steve is an ordained Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) minister and began his ministry with us on Feb 1, 2023. He has served the past 30 years on the staff of three Disciples of Christ churches: Church of the Valley – Van Nuys (Youth Minister, Associate Minister and Executive Pastor), First Christian Church of Burbank (Senior Pastor) and Lafayette Christian Church (Senior Pastor).

He currently serves on the Training and Care Committee for our Northern CA – Nevada Region. He has been the keynote speaker at Community of the Great Commission for adult retreats and CYF camp. Steve is a graduate of Claremont School of Theology and a prepared facilitator with the Center for Courage and Renewal. As an adjunct professor, he has taught courses in public speaking, interpersonal communication and intercultural communication.

Steve enjoys preaching, leading retreats and leading contemplative practices. For fun, he hikes, enjoys the outdoors, and plays harmonica and guitar. His recent hobby is shooting pool, so you might find him with his cue at a local pool hall.
